| ITALY, Siena : Inside the museum of the Contrada of Wolf ( Contrada is a medieval district of Siena city ), an old papyrus reporting data of the first horse races victory of the Palio, on June 21, 2010. The Palio of Siena (known locally simply as Il Palio) is a horse race held twice each year on July 2 and August 16 in Siena, Italy, in which ten horses and riders, dressed in the appropriate colours, represent ten of the seventeen Contrade (the medieval Siena district), or city wards.
